avantoure is the very first true multimedia luxury and new horizons opening magazine that was given to me to read. It's full of surprising and entertaining information, reportages and ideas, and beyond that, it gives a feeling and a true emotional approach of the subject it covers, by leveraging sound, animations and movies. In addition to feeling "wired", with avantoure, my experience is a gamer one, mixing media with real life: after all, "life is a game" isn't it ?

"avantoure is a nice experience to plunge into after a working day. There are a number of effects I paid attention to in March-April issue 2007. I loved a graphic solution used in the article about the bank robber, Willie Sutton. It would be difficult to illustrate Willie Sutton’s nickname, The Actor, better than it has been done in avantoure: I truly enjoyed the combination of sound effects and graphics: theatrical stage, typewriter effect and a drawing pencil fit so well together on the page.

Also, being in pre-holiday mood, it was nice to read about exotic destinations while listening to the corresponding sound effects. It is challenging to get the right sound to fit a particular destination. However avantoure team succeeded in doing so in March-April issue. So I hope that avantoure team will continue to succeed in creating music (sound) experience that will take the readers around the world!"

Sometimes glamour can be very far away from high tech!! But avantoure proves opposite!! I was so glad to see the E-Bay con article in a glamour lifestyle magazine like avantoure. It was really fun to read!  Even for someone like me who is more acquainted with mundane academic articles!!
Also, the multimedia experience was something very unique! The kind of thing only avantoure like projects can provide.
